My stay started off on a shaky note when I discovered that my booking was cancelled, despite having a confirmation. Thankfully, I found alternative accommodation nearby. The unit I ended up staying in had a pleasant environment with well-maintained grounds, but it was in serious need of a cleaning and upgrade. The pool was a nice feature, albeit on the smaller side, and I appreciated its warmth. However, the main shower was broken, and safety concerns regarding the outside steps made for a less than ideal experience.

The Avoca Palms Resort has a lovely pool and well-maintained grounds, but our experience with Unit 5 was disappointing due to its poor condition. While the location is close to the beach and shops, the price we paid felt unjustified for the quality of Unit 5. On the upside, the managers were really nice and open to feedback, which I appreciated.

I had a mixed experience at this resort. While the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and shops, the overall condition of the unit left much to be desired. The grounds were nice, but I encountered issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The service was decent, but the management could improve their communication. Overall, it was a decent stay, but not without its challenges.

It was super convenient being just a short walk from the beach and nearby shops.
